Apaco AG | Subsidiaries

Apaco AG takes over Inrabau AG in Füllinsdorf as of January 2015

This acquisition is one of the Apaco AG’s strategic goals to secure the company’s future. At this point the company has been in existence for almost 90 years. The Inrabau AG acquisition drove the expansion of the product portfolio to include industrial plant and pipeline construction. This means that in the future we will be able to offer our customers complete solutions as a one-stop shop, starting with consulting, design, planning and production through to the construction and commissioning of complete complex systems.

Inrabau AG, based in Füllinsdorf, Switzerland, acquired BWB Engineering AG, based in Pratteln, Switzerland, on January 1, 2019 and merged with INRA Group AG in the summer of 2019, thus expanding its range of services to include pipe and system manufacturing. Since 1997, Inrabau AG has been building custom-made pipelines and systems for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

Apaco AG employs around 120 people in Grellingen and is mainly active in the field of building services engineering (district heating substations and hot water systems) as well as in industrial equipment and system engineering. In the field of equipment engineering, it is mainly containers, reactors, heat exchangers and transport containers for raw materials and foodstuffs as well as steam generators that are manufactured.

In the life science area, system components for the pharmaceutical industry are manufactured according to GMP guidelines. With regard to materials, Apaco AG processes mainly stainless steel, but also nickel-based alloys and pure nickel.
