Swiss Quality

apaco was established in 1932 in Grellingen, Switzerland and employs currently over 85 staff.

apaco offers machines, plants and components for the following markets:

  • Domestic applications – Heating and Sanitation (District heating stations, stainless steel boilers and expansion and degassing plants apaco System Reflex)
     
  • Industrial heat technology plants and machines (Vessels/Containers, tank farms, heat exchanger, steam generators and custom-built equipment)
     
  • apacoPharm GMP plants and machines (Preparation vessels, DTS heat exchanger units, steam generators, containers for clean water , apacoLogic regulation units)
     
  • apacoLogic PLC regulation and integration into regulation systems are planned and programmed at apaco’s automation department.
     

apaco is a certified manufacturer by SVTI, TÜV and manufactures in accordance to the welding standard EN ISO 3834 and is ISO 9001 certified. 
apaco manufactures according to the pressure equipment directive (PED) and the corresponding norms and programs.
Equipment requiring heat technology is calculated by specific designed software.

Services such as the production of unlimited programmable controls, as well as installation, commissioning, repair and maintenance are coordinated by our customer service department.

Engineering
The construction and engineering department designs and creates equipment and plants, consults with the clients and authorities and issues comprehensive documentation for certification and take over. 

Production Equipment
Due to our technological advanced production plant, which includes a plasma cutting centre, massive rolling centers, UP- and plasma welding machines, Orbital welding equipment and our own pickling centre, we are able to complete orders for complex components.

Materials
apaco uses fine grained, high quality steel, heat resistant steel, all variations of stainless steel, sea water and acid resistant steel, pure nickel and nickel alloys, titanium, aluminium and copper. In general we only purchase materials with 3.1 B certification.
